White Victorian Dress

This is the most special thing I've ever seen. It is so delicate, there is so much incredible handwork, I am in awe of it. 

Victorian white cotton dress. This dress is very thin and lightweight cotton, and quite delicate.

High collar, with scalloped lace edge. Stripes of patterned lace at neckline. Below the lace neckline is handmade lace, which forms three points: the longest in the centre. Blobs of paisley, ornamental designs, flowers. Several rows of stitches at shoulders on either side. Curved lace inserts mimicking shape of armhole, and criss crossing at bust. Very very pleated at waistline to create ample volume at bust. Five rows of lace inserts at waist. Elbow length sleeves with several appliques of white cotton rows. Double lace rows at end of sleeve, with scalloped lace edge. Skirt has multiple panels of rectangular stitched white cotton, bordered in lace. Flared at hemline. Panels at met with double rows of lace, and a deeply pleated and tiered white cotton hemline. Floor length. Closures are at back, a mixture of buttons, snaps, and hooks. Model is an xs.

Quite a few brown and rust stains by back, by hooks and clasps. Some stains on back of right sleeve. Black mark by bottom right side of skirt. Yellowed by collar and shoulder. Brown stain by front under neck. Brown stain by front left side of skirt.
