I don't know if you're familiar with the Laparka. But it is a marvellous, marvellous thing. Two coats in one- the first a rain slicker style lightweight numéro, the other a wool layer. These fasten together to make the perfect coat, or come apart to make two layers. So smart and/or cool.
Rain slicker: a satiny blue hue- has a sheen to it. Hooded, with a square opening and single button closure at throat. Patch pockets at waist with flaps. Mid-thigh length. Label reads "1987." If need be, there's a back horizontal pocket the entire jacket can be scrunched into, and carried around. Ingenius! Marked a size medium.
Wool Layer: hooded, with single crossover horn button at collar. Slit pockets at waist. Stitched edges throughout. Cuffed sleeves. Bell shape due to single closure. Dropped shoulders. 100% wool.
