I adore a 1940’s dress.
Vintage 40's frock. Keyhole neckline with pleats on either side for a gathered neck moment. The bodice fabric is comprised of rows of diagonal stitching, meeting at a centred front seam. Elbow grazing sleeves. Skirt is intricately pleated on both sides of waistline, for a full, swingy skirt. Metal zipper at back. This piece is handmade, as so much from this decade was. No content or size label. I would say this is rayon. Missing belt. Model is a size 6.
