Roots Varsity Jacket

Wowowoow. 

Vintage Roots varsity jacket. Ribbed cream and black striped collar, matching waistband and cuffs. Bronze lengthwise snaps. Black wool body. Embroidered Roots logo of beaver and “roots” on right side of chest, with appliqué patch on left of an “R” with “Roots” inside. Angled waist pockets lined in ochre leather. I believe this is deerskin! Ultra soft and supple. Varsity-style patch on left sleeve, “73.”  Sleeves have lengthwise vertical seam, and horizontal seam at elbow. Back is black wool, with large “Roots Canada” upper body patch in black, cream and red. Epic! This piece is dead stock and has its inner tag attached. Label reads “medium, made in Canada. Dry clean only.”
